Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) seeks an Instructional Coach I to support teachers and education staff through Practice-Based Coaching, aligning practices with the Head Start framework. You will help staff develop classroom strategies, observe practice, and guide professional growth toward children’s readiness.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Minimum two years of relevant teaching or instructional support experience.
• Experience with coaching, mentoring, or adult professional development preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Build staff capacity through Practice-Based Coaching with goal setting and feedback.
• Conduct classroom and home-based observations to identify strengths and growth areas.
• Support staff in achieving professional growth goals for school readiness.
• Model effective teaching strategies during coaching sessions.
• Coordinate with supervisors to align coaching with program-wide PD goals.
• Document coaching sessions and track progress toward goals.
