Job summary

Boston Public Schools seeks an exceptional Elementary and Special Education teacher with an SEI endorsement to join our community of educators. This is a long-term substitute position (per diem rate) starting immediately and ending 11/30/26, reporting to the Principal/Head of School.

Responsibilities include teaching Elementary General Curriculum to students with Special Needs and English Language Learners, writing IEP goals, providing accommodations, and collaborating with school staff to meet

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• Massachusetts 1-6 Elementary license and SEI or ESL license for appropriate grade level.
• Fully licensed and Highly Qualified per state guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Teach Elementary General Curriculum in a setting inclusive of students with Special Needs and English Language Learners (SEI).
• Write and implement goals and objectives aligned with IEPs; provide regular progress reports.
• Provide accommodations and differentiation; develop curriculum when needed and prepare for assessments.
• Collaborate with staff to support student needs and modifications.
