Job summary

Caddo Parish School District in Louisiana seeks a Paraprofessional-Inclusion/Resource/Self-Contained to support students with disabilities in elementary and secondary settings. You will implement the classroom plan with the teacher, monitor progress, and assist with instructional activities.

You will help with behavior support, use assistive technology, supervise in common areas, and maintain confidentiality under FERPA.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass the teacher/paraprofessional assessment with a score of 450+.
• 48 hours of college with six hours of Math and nine hours of English (official transcripts required).

Responsibilities

• Works with students with disabilities in inclusive settings providing instructional support.
• Implements the classroom plan as developed with the teacher and monitors progress.
• Maintains confidentiality of student information under FERPA.
• Assists in supervision of study areas, cafeterias, halls, and field trips.
• Uses computer applications and assistive technology to support learning.
