Boston Public Schools seeks an exceptional Early Childhood and Special Education Teacher with an SEI endorsement to join our community of teachers and learners. This anticipated long-term substitute vacancy starts 01/09/2027 and ends with the last day of the school year.

Per diem subs are hired, even for long-term assignments, at the per diem rate of pay. Responsibilities include teaching early childhood general curriculum to students with special needs and English language learners, writing IEP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Massachusetts license in Moderate Disabilities (PK-8) and Early Childhood, plus SEI or ESL.
• Must be fully licensed and Highly Qualified.
• Eligibility to work in the United States by start date.

Responsibilities

• Teach Early Childhood General Curriculum for students with special needs and ELs.
• Provide small-group instruction to students with moderate to severe delays.
• Write and implement IEP goals and provide progress reports.
• Provide accommodations for learning and testing; develop curriculum as needed and prepare student work for assessments.
• Collaborate with staff to support student needs and modifications.
