Job summary

Caddo Parish Schools is seeking a Paraprofessional in Inclusion/Resource/Self-Contained settings. The role provides instructional support to students with disabilities, assists in implementing individualized plans, and helps maintain a safe, organized learning environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with options including an assessment score, associate degree, or college credits.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: must have a high school diploma or equivalent and meet one of the listed options.
• Language Skills: ability to read, write, and speak effectively with students, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Works with students with disabilities in all educational settings individually and/or in groups to provide instructional support.
• Implements instructional plans developed with the classroom teacher and adjusts as needed.
• Maintains confidentiality of student information under FERPA.
• Assists in supervising students in classrooms, cafeterias, halls, and during instructional field trips.
• Supports students with disabilities and implements behavior interventions as needed.
