Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher (official transcripts required) or 48 college hours with six hours of Math and nine hours of English.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports and present information.

Responsibilities

• Works with students with disabilities in various settings to provide instructional support.
• Implements the instructional plan with the classroom teacher and adjusts as needed.
• Maintains a log/schedule to support students with disabilities in inclusive, resource, and self-contained classrooms.
• Assists in supervising study areas, cafeterias, halls, and buses when applicable.
• Supports students in using computer applications and assistive technology.
