Job summary

Navy Region Southwest Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks a CYP Inclusion and Education Specialist to provide inclusive services for children 6 weeks to 18 across Child and Youth Programs. You will develop and implement inclusion and behavior support processes, conduct needs assessments, and connect families with appropriate services within the military community.

In this role you will train CYP professionals, lead classroom assessments, participate in the Inclusion Action Team, and promote

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years full-time experience with children/youth.
• Knowledge of IDEA and Rehabilitation Act as they apply to CDCs and youth programs.
• Experience with observation/assessment methods and implementation science.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with families.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate across delivery systems using inclusive practices and Navy DoD tools.
• Administer and monitor inclusion supports and behavior plans in classrooms.
• Coach CYP professionals to implement ISPs/BSPs and provide feedback.
• Serve on the Inclusion Action Team and ensure policy compliance.
• Train staff to promote inclusive practices and monitor outcomes.
