Job summary

Navylifesw in Coronado, CA is seeking a qualified professional to provide an inclusive approach to serving children aged 6 weeks through 18 with medical, educational, or other identified needs across Child and Youth Programs. The role supports development and implementation of CYP inclusion and behavior support processes while providing ongoing educational opportunities.

Responsibilities include conducting needs assessments, advising families, and coordinating referrals within the military

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in child development or related field.
• Three years of full-time experience with children/youth.
• Knowledge of IDEA and Rehabilitation Act as they apply to CDCs and community services.
• Skill in respectful communication with families.
• Experience with observation/assessment methods and BSP design.

Responsibilities

• Provide inclusive services across child care, education, and supports.
• Develop and implement CYP inclusion and behavior support processes.
• Conduct needs assessments and referrals within the military and local communities.
• Offer ongoing educational opportunities for staff and caregivers.
