The Opportunity

You will belong to an international connected team of specialists helping our clients with their most complex information security needs and contributing toward their business resilience. You will work with a team of cyber security experts to lead, manage, and deliver incident response engagements, assisting our clients in times of emergency to respond to cybersecurity incidents.

Your Key Responsibilities

This role involves working alongside clients across various industries and collaborating with EY teams to address concerns related to potential and actual breaches of technology, business systems, and information assets. Using industry-recognized and pragmatic approaches, you will work with the client’s IT team to respond to cybersecurity breaches, involving deployment of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools, collection of system artifacts, reconstruction of event timelines, and containment measures.

• Inspire, manage, and lead a team of experienced security consultants to perform high-quality digital forensic investigations and incident response engagements in complex environments.
• Lead incident response efforts to ensure threats are accurately assessed, contained, mitigated, and reported.
• Oversee monitoring, analysis, and triaging of security events.
• Identify and propose realistic solutions and improvements for complex issues.
• Develop innovative solutions for clients on various local and international engagements.
• Support business development opportunities within existing or future client work.
• Manage project budgets, balancing quality, timeframes, and costs.
• Promote diversity and inclusiveness.

Minimum Qualifications

• A recognized university degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, with at least 5 years of IT security and risk experience in consulting, including digital forensics, incident response, business development, client relationship management, and team management.
• Practical knowledge in security domains such as Security Operations, Digital Forensics, Incident Management, Identity & Access Management, Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security, and DevSecOps, including advisory, implementation, and operational experience.
• Understanding of EDR technologies like Microsoft ATP, CrowdStrike Falcon, VMware Carbon Black, Sentinel, etc.
• Strong business acumen and ability to quickly grasp cyber concepts.
• Knowledge of industry developments and security principles.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CISM, GCIH, GCFA, GCFE, GREM, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
