CyberCYBERSECURITY PROJECT MANAGER

This is a remote position based in the United States. Must be a US Citizen.

We are seeking a junior project manager to join our Cybersecurity Program Management Office (PMO). The role involves facilitating end-to-end cross-functional project management support for various Cybersecurity teams, managing agile ceremonies, and interacting with internal departments, vendors, and consultants.

What Will I Be Doing:
  • Collaborate with the lead project manager to execute cross-functional project activities with technical leads and business partners.
  • Serve as Scrum master for cybersecurity teams, supporting them throughout the agile lifecycle.
  • Manage planning and execution of projects to meet cost, time, and goals.
  • Coordinate stakeholder meetings to ensure clarity and expectations.
  • Organize project teams to drive results and address challenges.
  • Track project status, metrics, roadblocks, and communicate risks to stakeholders.
  • Escalate issues jeopardizing projects to management.
  • Identify and implement best practices and continuous improvements.
  • Plan schedules and organize activities to achieve objectives.
  • Engage with employees at all levels, including senior management.
What Skills Do I Need:
  • Alignment with the concepts of Individual, Impact, Innovation, and Integrity (The SailPoint 4 I’s).
  • Willingness to embrace challenges and contribute positively to the work culture.
  • Enjoy leading project teams, working with technology, and solving business problems innovatively.
  • 1-2 years of project management experience, preferably in an agile environment with technical teams.
  • Experience with Jira, Jira Cloud, and Confluence for agile project management.
  • Self-starter with resilience and results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic understanding of project management lifecycle, principles, and industry standards.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
  • Previous experience in Cybersecurity.
  • Education in Cybersecurity-related fields.

Benefits and compensation vary based on location and employment type. This role may be eligible for bonuses, commissions, and equity participation. Salary ranges for US-based employees are approximately $53,100 to $98,700, depending on experience and other factors.
