Overview

Tru Consulting is a leading consultancy specializing in Anaplan implementation services, with a strong focus on higher education. Our team of 50 professionals is committed to helping institutions achieve operational excellence and strategic growth.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our talented team. The Project Manager will work collaboratively with our clients, internal team, and stakeholders to coordinate and drive projects and deliverables to completion. Project Managers advise, implement and deliver Anaplan solutions, helping our clients develop strategies and capabilities to support enterprise-wide decision-making, improve finance operations, and create impact within their organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage hybrid agile methodology to develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project workplans while staying within timeline, scope, and budget constraints
  • Own project planning activities, including creating detailed project plans, outlining deliverables, establishing timelines, and finalizing resource allocations to ensure alignment with project and organizational goals
  • Take initiative to communicate with internal project teams and stakeholders to drive project deliverables to completion
  • Conduct frequent scope, schedule, and budget reviews to identify needed adjustments
  • Anticipate challenges, analyze risks, and drive the development of actionable solutions
  • Suggest process improvements where needed
  • Coordinate and lead planning sessions for project development and execution
  • Ability to translate existing blockers and business problems into resolution throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage communications between internal project teams and clients

Qualifications:

  • A four-year bachelor’s degree is required with a preference for degree emphasis in business, technology, management or related field
  • 2+ years of relevant Project Management experience in the technology, consulting, or software space
  • Current Permanent US Work Authorization Required
  • Skilled in cross-team collaboration with matrixed team members
  • Familiar with project management and agile methodologies
  • Highly organized, analytical, and adaptable
  • Results-oriented and creative problem solving
  • Excels under ambiguous environments and learn new processes and technologies quickly
  • Proven track record of delivering excellence

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP, MBA, CPA, CFA, or another professional license is a plus
  • 2+ years Public Sector/Higher Education PM work experience or similar industry is a plus
  • Experience working in agile methodology
  • A proven resource in defining strategy, developing requirements, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
  • Demonstrate flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with internal team, client team, and partners
