The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Change Manager to develop, implement and execute appropriate change strategies and communications to support transformational initiatives and programs of work for the Cyber Security program.

  • Location: California - Remote,
  • Work Arrangement: Remote
  • The salary range for this role is between $119,000 - $178,000 depending on experience
Your new role

As a Change Manager within our Cyber Security team, you will play a pivotal role in managing and implementing change initiatives aimed at enhancing our organization's security posture. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess, plan, and implement changes while considering the impact on processes, technologies, and people
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy for cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, cybersecurity experts, and IT teams, to garner support and facilitate smooth transition through effective communication and engagement strategies.
  • Conduct thorough impact assessments to understand the implications of proposed changes on cybersecurity processes, systems, and personnel.
  • Develop detailed change plans, considering risk management, resource allocation, timelines, and communication strategies to achieve successful implementation.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to upskill teams and stakeholders in new cybersecurity practices, tools, and processes.
  • Establish metrics and mechanisms to monitor the effectiveness of changes implemented and gather feedback to continuously improve processes and strategies.
Work Experience:

Necessary Work Experience includes:
  • Moderate relevant experience.
Preferred Work Experience includes:
  • Extensive experience managing planning and change functions, including CMOs.
  • Demonstrable ability in managing internal and external stakeholders with conflicting demands and understanding the commercial/financial implications and business impact of alternative People solutions.
  • Experience in the use of tools and techniques to facilitate effective change adoption.
  • Experience working within both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
  • Significant experience supporting multi-year change programs across different countries and cultures with diverse populations to achieve desired results.
Qualifications:

Necessary Qualifications include:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate's professional background, including their education and experience. Beyond the base salary, regular full-time and part-time employees will also be eligible for QBE's annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual performance.
