Job summary

Energy5 is hiring a Rebate & Incentive Sales Manager to drive revenue by securing rebates, incentives, grants, and funding for commercial EV charging projects. You will identify opportunities, qualify customers, and collaborate with Funding, Sales, Partnerships, Estimating, and Operations to close deals.

You will translate complex incentive programs into clear commercial value, build strategic relationships, and manage a Salesforce pipeline to forecast revenue.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in B2B sales or business development within energy/services
• Ability to translate complex incentives into customer value
• Experience managing discovery, objections, and opportunities through a formal sales process

Responsibilities

• Generate new rebate and incentive revenue by prospecting commercial customers seeking rebates, incentives, grants, and related funding.
• Translate funding programs into targeted sales campaigns based on geography, customer type, property profile, and timing.
• Build relationships with property owners, fleets, developers, utilities, and other organizations to generate rebate-management opportunities.
• Sell the business value of rebate management, explaining eligibility, incentive value, application requirements, and timelines.
• Qualify financial and project readiness to ensure viable projects before committing internal resources.
• Explain pre- vs post-construction funding and implications for customers.
• Develop turnkey rebate-led opportunities, coordinating with internal teams for broader services.
• Maintain Salesforce pipeline from prospecting to close with accurate forecasting.
• Collaborate with funding specialists for program interpretation, documentation, and execution.
