Job summary

Energy5 specializes in end-to-end EV charging infrastructure solutions. The Rebate & Incentive Sales Manager will generate new revenue by identifying commercial customers, partners, and project owners who can benefit from Energy5’s rebate, grant, utility incentive, and funding-management capabilities.

The role requires prospecting, qualifying, and closing opportunities where incentives materially improve project economics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, incentives, or related environments.
• Ability to independently prospect, develop, and close opportunities with clear customer value.
• Experience conducting discovery conversations and advancing opportunities through a structured process.

Responsibilities

• Generate new rebate and incentive revenue by prospecting commercial customers.
• Turn funding programs into targeted sales campaigns by geography and customer type.
• Build strategic relationships with property owners, fleets, developers, and others.
• Sell the business value of rebate management and related services.
• Qualify financial and project readiness before committing internal resources.
• Explain pre- vs post-construction funding implications to customers.
• Develop turnkey rebate-led opportunities that may expand to full Energy5 services.
• Maintain Salesforce pipeline from prospecting through close.
• Coordinate with Funding team for program interpretation and documentation.
• Stay informed on evolving incentive programs and adjust sales strategy.
