Job summary

Target is seeking an Inbound Expert to enhance guest experiences on the General Merchandise floor. The role emphasizes friendly service, efficient stocking, and accurate product presentation.

You will handle daily tasks to maintain inventory, support back-up cashier duties, and assist guests with inquiries in a fast-paced retail environment. The position requires 18+ years of age, strong communication and multitasking skills, and a readiness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other equipment.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Capable of remaining focused in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments.
• Greet guests at 10ft and 4ft zones with a warm interaction.
• Help guests find what they need or resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience.
• Sort, stock, organize, and store reserve product; maintain product availability on the salesfloor.
• Operate powered equipment if certified and unload freight when needed.
• Process defective merchandise in compliance with laws.
• Demonstrate safety and compliance culture.
• Work safely and report hazards.
