Job summary

Target is seeking an Inbound Expert to help guests on the General Merchandise floor. You will greet guests, assist with product finding, stock the floor, and ensure pricing and signage are accurate, delivering a friendly, efficient shopping experience.

Ideal candidates are 18+, able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, comfortable with handheld scanners, cash handling, and safe lifting up to 44 pounds. Training covers guest service fundamentals and store operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Capability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring guest experience by greeting guests and assisting them.
• Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Maintain product availability on the sales floor for GM categories.
• If certified, operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle environmentally sensitive items in compliance with laws.
