Job summary

Target is seeking an Inbound Expert to support General Merchandise operations in a fast-paced store environment in the United States. You will help guests, assist teammates, and maintain accurate stock, pricing, and presentation on the sales floor.

The role requires 18+ years of age, a welcoming attitude, and the ability to use handheld scanners while delivering friendly, efficient service to guests across shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Capable of remaining focused in a fast-paced environment and accomplishing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring guest experience by delivering on commitments.
• Greet guests at 10ft and 4ft levels with a friendly interaction.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the salesfloor for GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment if certified when unloading freight.
• Process defective merchandise and handle ESIM items in compliance with laws.
• Work safely and comply with safety policies and training.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup, Drive Up, and compliance with beverage laws.
• All other duties based on business needs.
