SelectQuote is seeking confident, competitive individuals for the Sales Qualification Associate (SQA) role. You will be the first sales contact for inbound prospects, understand their needs, articulate SelectQuote's value, overcome objections, and qualify customers for transfer to licensed agents.

This is an unlicensed role with opportunities to advance in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Ideal candidates communicate clearly over the phone, handle rejection gracefully, and stay motivated

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong verbal communication, active listening, and reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently over the phone.
• Competitive, goal-oriented, and motivated by measurable results.
• Previous sales, call center, or performance-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls, averaging ~200 calls per day.
• Create a confident, energetic, professional, and conversational customer experience.
• Build rapport, listen actively, ask effective questions, and understand needs.
• Explain SelectQuote's value proposition and qualify customers for transfer.
• Overcome objections and move qualified customers forward.
• Follow scripted conversations while keeping them natural.
• Meet or exceed transfer goals and KPIs.
• Accept coaching and apply feedback to performance.
• Adapt to changes in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
