Job summary

SelectQuote is seeking confident, competitive, resilient, and coachable individuals to join our Qualifications Team as a Sales Qualification Associate (SQA). You will engage primarily with inbound prospects, understand their needs, communicate SelectQuote's value proposition, overcome objections, and qualify customers for transfer to a licensed insurance agent.

This is an unlicensed sales position with a fast-paced, highly scripted process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong verbal communication, active listening, and reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and conversationally over the phone.
• Comfortable handling rejection and overcoming objections.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls, averaging around 200 calls per day.
• Build rapport and understand customer needs.
• Explain value proposition and qualify customers for transfer to a licensed agent.
• Meet or exceed transfer goals and KPIs.
• Follow scripted conversations while keeping them natural.
