Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong verbal communication, active listening, and reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and conversationally over the phone.
• Ability to think on your feet and respond appropriately to customer concerns.
• Comfortable handling rejection and overcoming objections.
• Competitive, goal-oriented, and motivated by measurable results.
• Previous sales, call center, inside sales, or other performance-based customer-facing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated reliability and consistent employment history preferred.
• Candidates should be prepared to clearly explain significant employment gaps, frequent job changes, or short-term/seasonal positions.
• Current insurance licenses are not eligible for this position.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls; average high-volume call load with focus on qualification for transfer to a licensed agent.
• Engage customers with confident, energetic, professional conversations.
• Build rapport, listen actively, and uncover customer needs.
• Explain value proposition and qualify customers for next steps.
• Overcome objections and maintain engagement to move customers forward.
• Follow scripts and processes while keeping conversations natural.
• Meet or exceed transfer goals and other performance-based KPIs.
• Accept coaching and apply feedback to performance.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and remain productive.
