Job summary

GPC is seeking an Inbound Operations Manager for our Sacramento distribution center. You will lead inbound teams, plan freight, receiving, stocking, and safety, reporting to the General Manager, and fostering engagement and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in DC operations, 1+ year in leadership, familiarity with WMS/ERP, and strong communication. A bachelor's in business, logistics, or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a distribution center or similar environment.
• 1+ year’s proven experience in a managerial role and/or leading teams.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics software (WMS, ERP).
• Lean six sigma and project management skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with senior management to implement operational strategies for efficiency.
• Manages inbound operations: freight scheduling, receiving, stocking, and safety.
• Trains and develops employees to maintain high efficiency.
• Handles inquiries and escalations, ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Works cross-functionally with DC leadership to reduce receiving errors.
• Monitors budget and cost-saving initiatives within inbound operations.
