Job summary

Accurate Personnel is hiring a Senior Distribution Center Manager to lead the Sacramento distribution center. You will oversee daily operations, implement production planning, maintain stock accuracy, and ensure safety and efficiency across 50-100 staff.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years related experience, strong leadership and organizational skills, bilingual Spanish a plus, and the ability to interact with all management levels while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or 3–5 years related experience or training.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Interact with all levels of management and lead a diverse workforce.
• Good organizational skills.
• Knowledge of DC operations.
• Strong sense of teamwork.
• Adhere to strict deadlines.
• Lifting up to 10lbs.
• Sitting at a computer for long periods.
• Climbing stairs and work in a Distribution Center environment with temperature variation.

Responsibilities

• Plans layout of warehouse and storage areas considering turnover, size, and weight.
• Manages the financial reporting of the warehouse.
• Designs, creates, and implements production planning for the entire warehouse.
• Advises employees on care and handling of stock and equipment.
• Studies records and recommends remedial actions for stock issues.
• Reviews records for accuracy and stock level adequacy.
• Schedules work for inventories and absolute stock checks.
• Traces history of items to resolve discrepancies.
• Determines work procedures, prepares schedules, expedites workflow.
• Issues written and oral instructions and assigns duties.
• Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency.
• Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.
• Adjusts errors and handles complaints.
• Manages 4-12 subordinate managers and 50-100 employees overall.
• Oversees training, planning, directing, appraising performance, and discipline.
• Other duties as necessary.
