Job summary

Target is hiring an Inbound Operations Team Leader in Alexandria, VA. You will guide a team of hourly associates, ensure guest-first service, and manage daily workload to meet sales goals. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to store policies while delivering an outstanding guest experience.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest-first culture on your team.
• Retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory management, guest patterns, pricing and promotions.
• Planning daily/weekly workload to support priorities and achieve sales goals.
• Leading a team of hourly team members with interviewing, developing, coaching and retention skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly experience.
• Ensure every team member is trained and delivers Target's guest experience commitments.
• Observe, give feedback, and recognize great guest moments while holding teams accountable.
• Review metrics and drive actions to improve outcomes and guest experience.
• Understand sales goals and execute workload to meet department and store goals and guest engagement.
• Lead operations with a focus on freshness, accuracy and efficiency.
• Set clear goals with direct leader and hold team to expectations.
• Plan workload with tools to keep areas guest-ready at store opening.
• Assign daily tasks to team members based on traffic and priorities.
• Identify gaps in GM backroom and sales floor and resolve issues.
