Job summary

Catbird NYC is seeking an Inbound Inventory Associate to join our team. The role coordinates inbound shipments, processes returns, and maintains inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts and restocking.

You will handle mail, scan and route deliveries, use RM and WMS systems, and collaborate with Customer Support to ensure smooth repairs transfers. A detail-focused, independent worker with strong Google Suite skills fits best.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical and computer skills required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and sit for part of shift.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Keep a clean and organized workstation.
• Strong attention to detail and precise counting.
• Proficient in Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Daily pickup of USPS mail from the mail room.
• Maintain daily logs of incoming packages.
• Scan and distribute deliveries to Inventory Controllers.
• Process returns and upload documents.
• Inspect returned product for damages.
• Use RM and WMS software systems.
• Respond to returns inquiries promptly.
• Collaborate with Customer Support for repairs transfers.
• Develop familiarity with product line.
• Restock and organize inventory locations daily.
• Perform daily cycle counts.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure damaged goods are flagged and removed.
• Support receiving, picking, and shipping teams.
• Promote teamwork and ownership.
• Must be able to work independently.
