Pelican Products in Clayton, IN is seeking a detail‑driven Returns Coordinator to own the returns process within our distribution operation. You will work with warehouse teams and cross‑functional partners to improve workflows, ensure inventory accuracy, and deliver high service levels.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in logistics/returns, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse systems.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in warehouse operations, logistics, returns processing, or inventory control.
• Experience coordinating workflows in a distribution or operational environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with warehouse management or inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end returns process from receiving to inventory updates.
• Verify product condition and ensure quality and operational standards.
• Process and track returns within inventory and order management systems quickly.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to returns and orders.
• Repack, relabel, and return approved products to inventory.
• Coordinate disposition of damaged materials.
• Monitor return workflows and prioritize to meet service deadlines.
• Collaborate with Warehouse, Quality, and Customer Service teams to improve the experience.
• Perform audits for SOP compliance and inventory accuracy.
• Identify trends and opportunities for process improvements, escalating risks.
• Train and support team members on returns procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
