Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking a Receiving/Accounts role in Massachusetts to handle incoming product deliveries, perform accounting tasks, and support distribution operations.

The position requires adherence to health and safety regulations and the company's procedures. You will work closely with store teams and vendors to ensure accurate PO matching and timely processing. Responsibilities include verifying orders, maintaining paperwork, and assisting with period-close accounting.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of store receiving, accounting, and distribution procedures and policies.
• Working knowledge of WFM quality goals, food handling, safety, and standards.
• Ability to educate team on product knowledge and convey enthusiasm.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and IRMA.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Verify actual product against Purchase Orders and/or supplier paperwork.
• Confirm product integrity; check product temperatures as needed.
• Stamp, initial, file invoices and distribute copies to teams.
• Close purchase orders in the store purchasing application.
• Adhere to receiving standards and distribute paperwork to leadership.
• Follow up with vendors regarding accounts payable.
• Support product teams with accounting during inventory and period close.
• Maintain baler, compactor, and environmental areas in working order.
• Arrive on time, groomed, and prepared for scheduled shifts.
