Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking an associate to handle receiving, accounting, and distribution tasks for incoming deliveries across store teams.

You will ensure product integrity, process invoices, and support accounts payable while upholding health, safety, and quality standards. The role requires 12+ months of retail experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, and the flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ months retail experience.
• 12+ months in distribution or receiving environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Familiarity with store receiving, accounting, and distribution policies.
• Able to work in a fast-paced setting with urgency.

Responsibilities

• Verify actual product against Purchase Orders and/or supplier paperwork.
• Confirm product integrity and check temperatures as needed.
• Stamp, initials, process, and file invoices.
• Distribute invoice copies to relevant teams and regional office.
• Close purchase orders in the store purchasing application.
• Adhere to Receiving standards and store processes.
• Distribute processed paperwork to team mailboxes.
• Follow up with vendors regarding accounts payable.
• Support product teams with accounting during inventory closes.
• Distribute store expense invoices to Store Leadership.
• Maintain baler, compactor, and environmental areas; coordinate service.
• Arrive on time, groomed, and prepared for shifts and trainings.
