Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a warehouse operator to perform distribution center material handling supporting inbound, outbound, returns, and related operations. This role emphasizes inventory accuracy, productivity, quality, and safety standards.

You will operate RF scanners, voice-picking equipment, and WMS while loading/unloading, staging, and shipping merchandise. Training and safety are key, with opportunities for career growth within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately match numerical and alphabetical information.
• Follows established operational, safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintain safe work environment, including lifting, moving, and handling merchandise.
• Willingness to learn warehouse systems, RF technology, and operational processes.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction.
• Ability to support training and development of team members when assigned.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, sort, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise accurately and efficiently.
• Match item numbers, quantities, manifests, freight bills, and shipping documentation with physical merchandise.
• Process inbound shipments, outbound orders, store returns, warranty merchandise, acquisitions inventory, and vendor return according to policy.
• Operate RF scanners, handheld devices, voice-picking systems, WMS, and other warehouse technology as required.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through scanning, labeling, auditing, staging, and discrepancy resolution.
• Follow hazardous material handling and disposal procedures per safety standards.
