Job summary

Crane is seeking an Inbound Specialist, Ground to manage the delivery leg from origin to final delivery, ensuring POD accuracy and financial reconciliation across TMF and Descartes Aljex.

You will monitor in-transit status, post delivery milestones, and pre-alert the billing team when the file is ready to bill. Strong attention to detail and experience with ground freight processes are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in transportation operations, delivery coordination, dispatch, or related logistics role.
• Hands-on experience with transportation management systems; direct experience with e2open TMF and/or Descartes Aljex strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor in-transit and delivery milestones across TMF and Aljex to maintain visibility.
• Assign ownership to shipments and track ETAs against appointments.
• Pre-alert receiving warehouses with delivery details and references.
• Post delivery milestones and reconcile PODs with system records before billing.
• Escalate transit, delivery, or security exceptions to appropriate teams.
