Job summary

Crane Solutions LLC is seeking an Outbound Specialist, Ground to manage the origin half of ground shipments from booking acceptance through departure confirmation. You will build shipment files in TMF and Descartes Aljex, apply cost and revenue, generate the BOL, and coordinate pickup with pre-alerts.

Escalations for scheduling and security will be handled as needed. The role requires close coordination across systems and teams, data parity, and timely handoffs to inbound colleagues at origin

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation operations and booking workflows.
• Hands-on with TMF and Descartes Aljex systems.
• Knowledge of US domestic ground freight (FTL/LTL) and lifecycle milestones.

Responsibilities

• Accept TMF booking and verify shipment data before building the file.
• Create the job in TMF, assign Crane Solutions as carrier, trigger EDI to Aljex.
• Add cost and revenue, generate the Bill of Lading (BOL).
• Coordinate pickup appointment and pre-alert, share BOLs.
• Maintain data parity between TMF and Aljex; ensure accurate sign-offs.
