Job summary

Crane-Solutions-LL is seeking an Inbound Specialist, Ground to manage the delivery leg from origin to invoicing. You will ensure in-transit visibility, verify POD accuracy, and escalate issues across TMF and Descartes Aljex, while maintaining data parity and supporting billing.

The role requires 1–3 years in logistics or transportation operations, familiarity with TMF/Aljex, and strong multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's preferred.
• 1–3 years in transportation operations or logistics coordination.
• Experience with TMF and Aljex is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of US domestic ground freight; ability to audit PODs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Aljex queue for unassigned shipments and take ownership promptly.
• Assign self as Service Rep to establish single-point ownership.
• Track shipments in MacroPoint; verify ETA vs. appointments.
• Send delivery pre-alert to receiving warehouse with details.
• Audit POD against shipment; file relevant documentation in systems.
• Close out file once final carrier charges are confirmed and billed.
