Job summary

Crane is seeking an Inbound Specialist, Ground to own the destination half of the ground shipment file from origin departure through delivery, reconciliation, and billing readiness. You will coordinate with e2open TMF and Descartes Aljex, maintain in-transit visibility, pre-alert warehouses, and ensure POD accuracy.

The role requires attention to detail, strong coordination with carriers, and escalation of exceptions to the Operations team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in logistics preferred.
• 1-3 years in transportation operations or related logistics.
• Experience with TMF and Aljex or similar systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Aljex queue and own unassigned loads promptly.
• Track shipments in MacroPoint and verify ETA against delivery.
• Send delivery pre-alerts with appointment details.
• Audit PODs for accuracy and upload to systems.
• Ensure cost/revenue parity between TMF and Aljex.
• Escalate transit and delivery exceptions to supervisors.
