How You'll Create Possibilities

As an Inbound Customer Service Agent with ASI/GE Appliances, you will provide direct support to GE Appliances Owners with a strong focus on sales and service. Responsibilities include providing product information, registration support, as well as service, parts, delivery, and dealer location inquiries. Concierge agents will provide resolution to owner issues through troubleshooting, sales, service, referrals, and minor concessions. This position will provide limited support to Non-GE Appliance branded appliance owners.

Shift: 4x10 (four days a week), 10 hours a day, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM (CST). (Tuesday & weekends off).

We offer a base rate of $15.00/hour+ incentives based on your quality scores - paid weekly.

Training: 9-week full-time training, same schedule as post-training. Commitment to all training days is mandatory; no absences permitted during this period.

Post-training schedule: same as above.

After 9 weeks of training, you will use multiple Windows-based programs and internal applications to:

  • Drive owner-focused solutions for customer issues; utilizing creativity and judgment-based reasoning skills by receiving incoming calls, emails, chats, or written inquiries and providing answers related to product information, service, pre & post-purchase, and sales of parts, product, and services.
  • Follow established guidelines, and when needed, take partnership to implement concession guidelines in the best interest of the owner and GE Appliances, using contact center systems.
  • Create, update, and retrieve owner records for logging complaints, actions, and resolutions.
  • Proactively provide feedback to Quality and Training teams to keep training materials updated.
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Support other parts of the business as directed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

  • One-year relevant experience in customer service or sales environment.
  • Proactive, self-starter with in-depth knowledge of processes and procedures, and strong follow-through skills.
  • Ability to research, analyze data, and make sound decisions regarding escalated owner matters.
  • High concentration and attention to detail.
  • Excellent team player with strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Maintain professional interactions to promote brand loyalty.
  • Acts with integrity, seeks leadership guidance as needed.
  • Familiarity with web-based systems for troubleshooting and resolution; comfortable navigating multiple systems.
  • Ability to work effectively from home.
  • Computer skills including MS Office and navigating multiple systems.

  • Dedicated, quiet, and spacious work area for equipment.
  • Reliable local internet with Ethernet connection; no Satellite, Pre-paid, or DSL allowed.
