Inbound Customer Service Agent-Bodewell (Remote)

Job Responsibilities

As an Inbound Customer Service Agent with ASI/GE Appliances, you will support GE Appliances Owners focusing on sales and service. Responsibilities include providing product info, registration support, and handling inquiries about service, parts, delivery, and dealer locations. You will resolve owner issues through troubleshooting, sales, and referrals, including minor concessions. Limited support for Non-GE branded appliance owners is also part of the role.

  • Shift: 4x10, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM CST, Tuesdays & Weekends off.
  • Base rate of $15.00/hour + incentives based on quality scores, paid weekly.
  • 9-week full-time training: same schedule, mandatory attendance with no absences allowed.
  • Post-training schedule: same as above.
  • Participation in shift bid twice a year to change schedules within business hours of 7am-7pm CST.

Post-training, you'll use various Windows-based programs and internal applications to:

  • Provide solutions for customer issues, utilizing creativity and judgment during calls, emails, chats, or written inquiries.
  • Follow guidelines, and when needed, implement concessions in the best interest of the owner and GE Appliances.
  • Create, update, and retrieve owner records, documenting complaints, actions, and resolutions.
  • Provide feedback to improve training and processes.
  • Adhere to safety policies.
  • Support other business areas as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • At least one year of relevant experience in customer service or sales.
  • Proactive, self-starting, with strong process knowledge and follow-through.
  • Ability to research, analyze data, and make sound decisions.
  • High attention to detail and concentration.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and promote brand loyalty.
  • Integrity and ability to seek leadership guidance when necessary.
  • Familiarity with web-based systems and multitasking.
  • Ability to work effectively from home.
  • Computer skills: MS Office and navigating multiple systems.
Remote Work Requirements
  • Dedicated, quiet, and spacious work area for equipment.
  • Reliable internet with Ethernet connection; no satellite, prepaid, or DSL internet.

  • Ping 50 Mbps or lower
  • Download 50 Mbps or higher
  • Upload 15 Mbps or higher
