Inbound Customer Service Agent-Bodewell (Remote)

USA, Memphis, TN; Austin, TX; Columbia, SC; Columbus, OH; Jackson, MS; Louisville, KY; Nashville, TN; Oklahoma City, OK; Salt Lake City, UT; Sioux Falls, SD

Role Description

As an **Inbound Customer Service Agent** with ASI/GE Appliances, you will provide direct support to GE Appliances Owners, focusing on sales and service. Responsibilities include providing product information, registration support, and handling inquiries related to service, parts, delivery, and dealer locations. Concierge agents will resolve owner issues through troubleshooting, sales, service, referrals, and minor concessions. Support to Non-GE Appliance owners is limited.

Shift: 4x10 (days a week), 10 hours per day, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM (CST). After 9 weeks of full-time training, you will work the same schedule. Training is mandatory with no absences permitted.

Post-training, you will use multiple Windows-based programs and internal applications to:

  • Drive solutions for customer issues using creativity and judgment
  • Follow guidelines and implement concessions when appropriate
  • Create, update, and retrieve owner records
  • Provide feedback to improve training and quality
  • Adhere to safety policies
  • Support other business areas as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of relevant customer service or sales experience
  • Proactive, self-starter with strong follow-through and process knowledge
  • Ability to research, analyze data, and make sound decisions
  • High attention to detail and concentration
  • Excellent communication skills and professionalism
  • Ability to work effectively from home with a dedicated workspace and reliable internet
  • Computer skills including MS Office and navigating multiple systems

Remote Work Requirements

  • Dedicated quiet workspace with space for equipment
  • Reliable internet connection: no satellite, pre-paid, or DSL
  • Internet Speed: Ping 50 Mbps or lower, Download 50 Mbps or higher, Upload 15 Mbps or higher
