Job summary

Best Buy Geek Squad Agent role located at a local Best Buy store focuses on being the first point of contact for technology support. You will assess customer needs, perform basic services and partner with other agents on more complex repairs.

You will assist customers during check-in/out, explain repair or replacement options, and keep service queues updated. A flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is required to succeed.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during the check-in and checkout process
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, taking notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on whether to repair or replace old devices
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents
