Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent in Burlington, NC to be the first point of contact for technology support at our local store. You’ll receive training and resources to assess customers’ needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.

You’ll provide friendly service during check-in/check-out, understand issues, help set up devices, and keep customers informed with status updates.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends
• Passion for technology and desire to solve problems
• Ability to adapt and learn in a fast-paced industry

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service during check-in and checkout
• Understand technology issues by asking questions and taking notes
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair vs. replacement
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses
• Communicate and partner with fellow agents
