Job summary

Best Buy in Greenville, NC is seeking a part-time Geek Squad Agent to assist customers with technology products and services. You will be the first point of contact, assess needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.

You’ll gain training and resources to grow your knowledge, help customers decide repair vs. replacement, and deliver friendly, timely support in-store.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, asking follow-up questions, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and provide advice on whether to repair or replace old devices.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
