Job summary

Best Buy’s Geek Squad Agent role places you at the front lines of technology support in our Vernon Hills store. You’ll help customers identify needs, set up devices, and decide repair or replacement, while staying current through training and collaborating with teammates.

A friendly attitude and at least 3 months in retail or customer service are expected to fit into a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Passion for technology.
• Ability to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions and taking notes to estimate next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair vs replacement.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates.
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
