Job summary

Best Buy Geek Squad Agent in Pensacola, FL, part-time, provides tech support and guidance to customers on computers and devices. You’ll assess needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents for more complex repairs.

You will gain training and resources to set up devices, offer repair vs. replacement advice, and help with warranties or service plans while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, asking follow-up questions, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and provide advice on whether to repair or replace old devices.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
