Job summary

Best Buy's Geek Squad Agent role in Fort Lauderdale is a part-time seasonal position. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers needing technology support, providing friendly, timely service and helping assess needs for repairs or replacements.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, and providing time estimates.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair vs. replacement.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with fellow agents.
