Job summary

The Best Buy store in Pittsburgh is seeking a part-time Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support, knowledge, and solutions for computers and other devices. You will assess customer needs, perform basic services and partner with other agents for more complex repairs.

We provide training and resources to help you assist customers, set expectations, and decide whether to repair or replace devices.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Passion for technology and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during the check-in and checkout process
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, asking follow-up questions, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps
• Help customers set up new devices and provide advice on whether to repair or replace old devices
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents
