Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support at our local store. You’ll assess customer needs, perform basic services and partner with other agents on more complex repairs.

You’ll help customers set up new devices, advise on whether to repair or replace, and keep knowledge current through training. A flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends, is required to serve shoppers.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service
• Passion for technology and desire to solve problems

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout process
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, taking notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair vs. replace decisions
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents
• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends
