Job summary

Best Buy’s Geek Squad Agent role in Melbourne, FL delivers friendly, knowledgeable technology support at the point of contact in-store. You’ll learn to assess customer needs, perform basic services and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.

Responsibilities include assisting customers during check-in/out, diagnosing issues, guiding device setup, and keeping queues updated. A 3-month retail or customer service background and a flexible schedule are required.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Passion for technology and desire to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions and providing accurate time estimates.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair or replacement options.
• Monitor service queues and provide status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skills through certified training courses.
• Communicate clearly and partner with fellow agents.
