Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent in Mishawaka, IN to be the first point of contact for technology help. You’ll assess customer needs, perform basic services and coordinate with other agents on complex repairs, with training provided.

You’ll help customers set up devices, answer questions, and keep service queues moving, while maintaining up-to-date product knowledge and delivering friendly, efficient support in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Passion for technology and problem solving.
• Ability to adapt and learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during the check-in and checkout process.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, asking follow-up questions, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and provide advice on whether to repair or replace old devices.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
