Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an In-Store Shopping Clerk to fulfill customer online orders in-store using the Instacart Shopper App and to uphold high standards of product quality and freshness. You’ll interact with customers, complete transactions at the POS, and help keep the store organized and inviting.

The role emphasizes friendly service, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to busy environments while maintaining the store’s appearance and accuracy of orders.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with positive customer interaction.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment (register, calculator, scanner).
• Standing, walking, bending throughout the shift.
• Ability to maneuver a cart up to 20 lbs for distances up to 20 feet.
• Walk up to 3 miles in a shift.

Responsibilities

• Shop in-store and fulfill customer online orders using Instacart Shopper App on a mobile device.
• Provide excellent customer service by focusing on product quality and freshness, and substitute out-of-stock items as needed.
• Communicate changes to orders as necessary.
• Process order transactions using the in-store POS system.
• Serve as online ambassador for the store, answering questions about delivery and the Instacart platform.
• Assist in stocking shelves, filling frozen bins, and maintaining store presentation.
