Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an In-Store Shopping Clerk to assist customers and fulfill online orders using the Instacart Shopper App. You will ensure product quality and freshness, communicate changes, and process payments at the POS.

You may also stock shelves and help keep the store clean and inviting. The role emphasizes friendly customer interactions, teamwork, and the ability to stand and walk throughout shifts while handling cart duties.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and ability to interact positively with customers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Ability to operate front end equipment: register, calculator and scanner.
• Stand for long periods; walk up to 3 miles in an 8-hour shift; handle up to 20 lb carts.

Responsibilities

• Shop and fulfill customer online orders using Instacart Shopper App on a mobile device.
• Provide excellent customer service by focusing on product quality and freshness and substituting out-of-stock items.
• Communicate order changes effectively to customers and team.
• Process transactions using the in-store POS system.
• Serve as online ambassador by answering questions about delivery, Instacart, and service benefits.
• May assist in stocking shelves, filling frozen food bins, and maintaining store cleanliness and presentation.
