The UPS Store #6515 is hiring a Center Sales Associate at our Fresno location. You will deliver world-class customer service by assisting walk-in customers with shipping, packaging, and printing services, while operating copiers, fax, and POS devices.

The role emphasizes meeting daily sales goals in a friendly, professional store environment. A background in retail sales, strong computer skills, and a professional, friendly demeanor are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience.
• Strong computer and internet skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Friendly, helpful demeanor and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
• Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, The UPS Store team members, and leadership
• Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions
• Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends
• Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Empathizes and manages demanding, impatient, and/or frustrated customers to turn a stressful event into a positive experience
• Manages the logistics of small to medium projects, follows through to completion, and updates all parties as needed
• Packages shipments for safe arrival, including assembling stock boxes, building custom boxes, and properly cushioning contents
