Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is seeking an affiliate role focused on customer service and counter sales in our retail store. You will handle telephone orders, answer questions, and trace shipments while supporting the Outside Sales team.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1+ year in related roles, strong customer service skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. You’ll promote add-on gas and hard goods, maintain records, and perform warehouse duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive and enter telephone orders, answer questions, resolve challenges, and trace order status or product shipments.
• Serve customers through counter sales in the retail store
• Conduct warehouse duties, including moving cylinders for customers
• Provide sales support to the Outside Sales team
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate products, equipment, and programs
• Promote add-on sales of gases and high-margin hard goods accessories and conduct product demonstrations as an in-store sales representative
• Maintain customer records and files, ensuring accurate account setup and pricing
• Perform outbound calls to retail and small 'B' customers
• You will sell products at minimum discount to achieve target margins and occasionally support additional locations
