Job summary

Linde plc is seeking an experienced customer service/inside sales professional for our Sparks, NV location. The role involves receiving and entering telephone orders, answering questions, and tracing order status or shipments.

You will also assist customers at the counter, support the Outside Sales team, and promote gas and hard goods while maintaining accurate records. Applicants should have a high school diploma/GED, 1+ year in related roles, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of Customer Service/Inside Sales/Counter Sales preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills essential for success in this role.
• No DUI/DWI or alcohol-related convictions in last 10 years.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers through counter sales in the retail store.
• Conduct warehouse duties, including moving cylinders for customers.
• Provide sales support to the Outside Sales team.
• Promote add-on sales of gases and hard goods; conduct product demonstrations as in-store rep.
• Maintain customer records and pricing; ensure accurate account setup.
• Perform outbound calls to retail and small customers.
• Sell products at minimum discount to achieve target margins.

• Serve customers through counter sales in the retail store
• Conduct warehouse duties, including moving cylinders for customers
• Provide sales support to the Outside Sales team
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate products, equipment, and programs
• You will promote add-on sales of gases and high-margin hard goodsaccessories and conduct product demonstrations as an in-store salesrepresentative
• Maintain customer records and files, ensuring accurate account setup andpricing
• Perform outbound calls to retail and small 'B' customers
• You will sell products at minimum discount to achieve target margins andoccasionally support additional locations

Pay range: $21.02 - $30.83 hourly based on experience.
